The 2023 Topps Update Action Stars Yordan Alvarez #AS-9 is a Baseball card released in 2023. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.75.
An ungraded copy is worth around $1.75, a PSA 9 around $12.15, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $34.20 and a pristine BGS 10 around $44.00. That's roughly a 20× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($1.75) and top-graded ($34.20) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
