About Ripbin
Ripbin is a free price guide, scanner, and marketplace for sports cards and trading-card games. We help collectors answer one question fast: what is this card actually worth?
How we price cards
Every value on Ripbin is built from real market activity, not guesswork. We combine two independent signals:
- Recent sales data — aggregated sold prices from SportsCardsPro, broken out by grade so you see ungraded value alongside PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC gem-mint prices.
- Live eBay listings — current asking prices and active inventory pulled from the eBay Browse API, so you can cross-check a value against what cards are listed for right now.
Grade-by-grade methodology
A card's value is inseparable from its condition. Each card page shows an ungraded estimate plus values across the grading scale (PSA 7–10, BGS 9.5/10, SGC 10, CGC 10) when sales data exists. The headline number is always the ungraded estimate; graded values are labeled explicitly so nothing is conflated.
How often prices update
Card values move with the market. We refresh pricing on a rolling daily cadence, and every card page shows a “Prices updated” date so you always know how current a number is.
Who's behind Ripbin Research
Our guides and value rankings are produced by Ripbin Research— the in-house team that maintains the catalog, validates pricing sources, and writes the editorial “most valuable” and rookie-card guides. Every ranking is generated from our own catalog data, so the numbers, images, and ordering on a guide are specific to that page, not boilerplate.
Affiliate disclosure
Ripbin participates in the eBay Partner Network. When you buy a card after clicking an eBay link on our site, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This never changes the values we show; pricing is derived from sales data independently of any affiliate relationship.
