The 2009 Topps Chrome Vernon Davis Red Refractor #TC2 is a Football card (Red Refractor parallel) released in 2009. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $2.44.
An ungraded copy is worth around $2.44, a PSA 9 around $13.84, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $43.53 and a pristine BGS 10 around $57.00. That's roughly a 18× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($2.44) and top-graded ($43.53) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
