The 1999 Collector's Edge Odyssey Troy Aikman #42 is a Football card released in 1999. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $0.68.
An ungraded copy is worth around $0.68, a PSA 9 around $8.98, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $20.00 and a pristine BGS 10 around $26.00. That's roughly a 29× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($0.68) and top-graded ($20.00) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
