The 1990 Fleer Update Travis Mays #U-86 is a Basketball card released in 1990. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.25.
An ungraded copy is worth around $1.25, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $21.00 and a pristine BGS 10 around $27.00. That's roughly a 17× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($1.25) and top-graded ($21.00) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
