1997 Topps Finest Thomas Smith Refractor w/ Coating #31 value & prices

The 1997 Topps Finest Thomas Smith Refractor w/ Coating #31 is a Football card (Refractor w/ Coating parallel) released in 1997. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $2.99.

An ungraded copy is worth around $2.99, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $22.49 and a pristine BGS 10 around $29.00. That's roughly a 7.5× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.

Is it worth grading?

The spread between raw ($2.99) and top-graded ($22.49) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
