The 2008 Topps Chrome Steve Smith Blue Refractor #TC85 is a Football card (Blue Refractor parallel) released in 2008. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $11.50.
An ungraded copy is worth around $11.50, a PSA 9 around $29.91, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $59.88 and a pristine BGS 10 around $78.00. That's roughly a 5.2× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($11.50) and top-graded ($59.88) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
