2024 Topps 1989 Topps Baseball 35th Anniversary (Series 2) Shohei Ohtani Gold #89B2-1 value & prices

The 2024 Topps 1989 Topps Baseball 35th Anniversary (Series 2) Shohei Ohtani Gold #89B2-1 is a Baseball card (Gold parallel) released in 2024. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $159.50.

An ungraded copy is worth around $159.50, a PSA 9 around $326.00, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $477.17 and a pristine BGS 10 around $620.00. The gem-mint premium is modest (about 3.0× raw), so condition matters here but doesn't completely define the price.

Is it worth grading?

With raw copies near $159.50 and top grades reaching $477.17, grading a sharp copy of this card can clearly pay for itself — the spread comfortably covers a typical ~$25.00 grading fee. The catch: only submit copies with strong centering, clean corners, and unmarked surfaces, because anything below a 9 usually erases the math.
