The 2020 Topps Inception Base Set Shohei Ohtani Purple #56 is a Baseball card (Purple parallel) released in 2020. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $58.45.
An ungraded copy is worth around $58.45, a PSA 9 around $60.00, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $149.77 and a pristine BGS 10 around $195.00. The gem-mint premium is modest (about 2.6× raw), so condition matters here but doesn't completely define the price.
Is it worth grading?
With raw copies near $58.45 and top grades reaching $149.77, grading a sharp copy of this card can clearly pay for itself — the spread comfortably covers a typical ~$25.00 grading fee. The catch: only submit copies with strong centering, clean corners, and unmarked surfaces, because anything below a 9 usually erases the math.
