The 2018 Donruss Optic Rookie Elite Series Sam Darnold #RES-SD is a Football card released in 2018. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $3.45.
An ungraded copy is worth around $3.45, a PSA 9 around $16.00, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $20.00 and a pristine BGS 10 around $26.00. That's roughly a 5.8× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($3.45) and top-graded ($20.00) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
