The 1979 Fleer Team Action New England Patriots Prepare for Takeoff #31 is a Football card (Prepare for Takeoff parallel) released in 1979. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.00.
An ungraded copy is worth around $1.00, a PSA 9 around $1.25, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $16.50 and a pristine BGS 10 around $21.00. That's roughly a 17× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($1.00) and top-graded ($16.50) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
