The 2024 Topps 1989 Topps Baseball 35th Anniversary (Series 1) Max Scherzer #89B-98 is a Baseball card released in 2024. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.60.
An ungraded copy is worth around $1.60, a PSA 9 around $12.08, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $34.55 and a pristine BGS 10 around $45.00. That's roughly a 22× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($1.60) and top-graded ($34.55) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
