The 2023 Topps Update 1988 Topps Baseball Matt Mervis #88US-12 is a Baseball card released in 2023. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.25.
An ungraded copy is worth around $1.25, a PSA 9 around $11.54, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $33.03 and a pristine BGS 10 around $43.00. That's roughly a 26× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($1.25) and top-graded ($33.03) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
