The 1981 Perez Steele HOF Postcard John Ward #101 is a Baseball card released in 1981. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $5.00.
An ungraded copy is worth around $5.00, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $28.62 and a pristine BGS 10 around $37.00. That's roughly a 5.7× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($5.00) and top-graded ($28.62) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
