The 1996 Collector's Choice Update You Make the Play John Elway #Y25 is a Football card released in 1996. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $6.43.
An ungraded copy is worth around $6.43, a PSA 9 around $11.99, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $25.00 and a pristine BGS 10 around $33.00. That's roughly a 3.9× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($6.43) and top-graded ($25.00) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
