The 1989 Pro Set Eric Thomas #68 is a Football card released in 1989. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.23.
An ungraded copy is worth around $1.23, a PSA 9 around $2.00, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $39.95 and a pristine BGS 10 around $52.00. That's roughly a 32× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($1.23) and top-graded ($39.95) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
