1979 Topps Ed Taylor #442

1979 Topps Ed Taylor #442 value & prices

The 1979 Topps Ed Taylor #442 is a Football card released in 1979. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $1.40.

An ungraded copy is worth around $1.40, a PSA 9 around $22.49, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $50.00 and a pristine BGS 10 around $65.00. That's roughly a 36× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.

Is it worth grading?

The spread between raw ($1.40) and top-graded ($50.00) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
