The 1999 SP Authentic Cade McNown Excitement #97 is a Football card (Excitement parallel) released in 1999. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $5.80.
An ungraded copy is worth around $5.80, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $49.99 and a pristine BGS 10 around $65.00. That's roughly a 8.6× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($5.80) and top-graded ($49.99) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
