The 1996 Select Certified Brett Favre Red #85 is a Football card (Red parallel) released in 1996. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $3.97.
An ungraded copy is worth around $3.97, a PSA 9 around $29.99, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $53.50 and a pristine BGS 10 around $70.00. That's roughly a 13× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($3.97) and top-graded ($53.50) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
