The 2016-17 Donruss Optic Base Set Anthony Davis Checkerboard #97 is a Basketball card (Checkerboard parallel) released in 2016. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $15.00.
An ungraded copy is worth around $15.00, a PSA 9 around $9.00, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $20.29 and a pristine BGS 10 around $26.00. The gem-mint premium is modest (about 1.4× raw), so condition matters here but doesn't completely define the price.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($15.00) and top-graded ($20.29) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
