The 2023-24 Panini Contenders Optic Optic Illusion Amen Thompson #9 is a Basketball card. Ungraded copies carry a market value of about $2.86.
An ungraded copy is worth around $2.86, a PSA 9 around $18.50, a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) around $39.56 and a pristine BGS 10 around $51.00. That's roughly a 14× premium for a gem-mint copy over raw — one of the clearest signals that condition-sensitive buyers dominate this card's market.
Is it worth grading?
The spread between raw ($2.86) and top-graded ($39.56) copies is fairly tight, so grading this card only makes financial sense for truly flawless copies — or for collectors who simply prefer slabbed cards for protection and display.
